Dr. Jigar Jariwala is a dedicated and accomplished HepatoPancreaticoBilliary and Gastrointestinal surgeon, known for his dynamic approach to patient care. He completed his MBBS (2011-2016) from the prestigious BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad. He did his postgraduation in M.S. General Surgery (2017-2020) from NHL Medical College-VS Hospital Ahmedabad. Driven by his passion for GI-HPB Surgery, he Did his Superspeciality in M.Ch Surgical Gastroenterology (2021-2024) from the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala. Dr. Jigar secured First rank in the university and has received a Gold Medal in Surgical Gastroenterology. He is a Fellow of Minimal Access Surgery and is Skilled in doing Complex Laparoscopic Surgeries. He has been trained in Complex pancreas and Liver surgery under Dr.Markus Buchler at the University Hospital of Heidelberg, Germany. He was part of solid organ transplant team at Amrita hospital during his training residency and has an experience of more than 300 liver transplants and 4 pancreas transplants(SPK).

Being an MCh Gold Medalist with training in complex HPB work and Liver Transplant makes Dr. Jigar one of a kind in entire South Gujarat. At present, Dr. Jigar Jariwala is a Consultant HPB & Gastrosurgeon at the Department of GI-HPB & Liver Transplant at SIDS Hospital, Surat.
